Wanting to get involved in the Half-Life 2 community, I worked as community manager for HLFallout for over a year; writing content, establishing connections with mod development teams and setting up interviews.
With a love for the Battlefield series, I started a large community website. It quickly became a friendly, active source of information as we offered extensive guides, stats tracking and a forum to discuss everything Battlefield related. However, due a lack of funds and time, the site had to close down.
Hull-Breach is a great game to be working on. it’s the sort of sci-fi setting that really appeals to me; futuristic Japanese cities decayed by the tide of war. It really gives a certain artistic freedom with all the gritty little details.
Insurrection is a side project with two of my friends, using our passion for Half-Life 2 to create a new storyline. We are only bringing in a small amount of custom art assets, which allows us to focus more on the gameplay aspects.
There are quite a few HL2 editing sites out there, but I’m proud to call Interlopers my home. It’s a site that my friends and I run, keeping news up to date, writing tutorials and enjoying the forums with hundreds of other users.
An extensive list of previous projects, both community and design related, can be found on the résumé page.
